Job Title: CMI Manager - Social First Media & Content Location: 100VE Work Level: 2A
This role is a maternity cover position on a secondment basis (12 months).
JOB PURPOSE As direct partners to the GMO, CMI plays a crucial role in creating the insights, frameworks and measurement capabilities that enable Unilever to deliver unmissable brand experiences across media, retailer media and content. This role will help ensure our brands remain rooted in culture, with clear insight into how consumers engage with content, media and emerging platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Work closely with media partners, research agencies, creative agencies and media agencies, including partners such as Meta, Amazon and CreativeX, to identify opportunities for Unilever brands to engage with consumers. • Identify metrics that can help predict the ROI of different engagement opportunities, both in building brands and driving sales. • Lead the development of best practices for content across emerging engagement opportunities. • Develop new tools and frameworks to support Unilever’s social-first demand generation agenda across media and content. • Actively scout for new technology in the field of brand engagement insights, working closely with partners to develop new tools and embed them across the organisation. • Understand and drive new learning on values, culture and content, and how these influence media and content consumption behaviours. • Work closely with agencies to decode content best practice across traditional and digital channels. • Own capability and process for key frameworks, partnering with other teams to drive one source of truth on social-first metrics.
ALL ABOUT YOU • Strong understanding of media, content, social-first engagement and consumer insight. • Comfortable working with internal stakeholders, external agency partners, platforms and specialist partners. • Able to translate data, insight and cultural signals into practical frameworks and recommendations. • Strong curiosity for emerging technology, consumer behaviour and brand engagement opportunities. • Confident collaborating across teams and influencing senior stakeholders to embed new ways of working.
