Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Mt Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Rehabilitation Tech to join our mission-driven Inpatient Rehabilitation Team.
Rehab Technician assists the Therapists with direct patient care activities utilizing rehabilitation techniques and coordinates non-clinical activities and support functions for the Rehab team. What will you do:
• Assists therapists with patient care of patients of all ages including ADL, exercise, and functional mobility activities and modalities • Performs various duties to maintain safe and efficient operation of department. • Performs hydrotherapy functions and caring for patients in hydro. • General clerical and front desk support. • Communicates with ancillary departments, clients and family members to ensure customer satisfaction Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, with general knowledge of sciences, medical terminology • Prior healthcare or patient service preferred. • Strong communication skills, verbal and written. • Excellent Customer Service Skills and demonstrated simple math skills.
