Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced US Recruiter with a solid background in accounting/bookkeeping to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for accounting and finance positions — from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions. Your accounting knowledge will allow you to accurately assess technical skills and ensure the best fit for both the candidate and the organization. You will work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs, provide market insights, and deliver a high-quality recruitment experience.

Your understanding of both recruitment and accounting fundamentals will enable you to quickly identify high-caliber talent, improve match quality, and accelerate hiring timelines for our clients. By leveraging AI and building scalable recruiting systems, you’ll help transform how we source, evaluate, and engage accounting professionals—setting a new standard for efficiency and candidate experience.
Core Responsibilities:Recruit specifically for 1099 and contract-based accounting and finance rolesLeverage AI and develop tools using OpenAI to streamline and optimize the recruiting funnelBring a background in HR or people leadership to navigate sensitive conversations and candidate interactionsApply strong copywriting skills to craft compelling outreach and job marketing materialsOperate with a content- and community-driven mindset to attract talent through engagement rather than cold outreachLead end-to-end recruitment processes for accounting and finance rolesSource, attract, and engage qualified candidates through various channelsReview resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates’ technical accounting abilitiesBuild strong relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance on role requirements and market trendsMaintain an active pipeline of accounting talent for current and future hiring needsEnsure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment processRequirements
Must-Have:
3+ years of US Recruitment experience (must have experience hiring 1099 and contract-based employees in the US)1+ years of experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role (e.g., bookkeeper, accountant, auditor, finance associate)Experience in QuickBooks Online is required.Proven success in recruitment, talent acquisition, or headhuntingStrong understanding of accounting concepts and financial reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple searches and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
