Organization: SGMF-Sutter Gould Med Foundation Position Overview: Responsible for general, mechanical, and preventive maintenance including inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment and facilities and housekeeping within a clinic. Performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, repair, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other related work as required. operates, maintains, and repairs equipment including vessel boiler, electrical, air-conditioning refrigeration, plumbing, as well as a working knowledge of all other skill areas. Job Description: EDUCATION:
• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
• DL-Valid Drivers License Upon Hire
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of all building components (i.e., boilers, fuels, piping systems, roof building structures, air conditioning systems, grounds etc.) • Able to read, write, and speak the English Language. • Develops through training program and then exhibits complete knowledge of the system, theory and procedures for repair and maintenance in one of the following areas: electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration, pressure vessel boiler, plumbing and carpentry. • Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of electrical theory and procedures for repairing and maintaining the system. • Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating control systems, including air balance and system calibration procedures for repair and maintenance. • Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and procedures for repair and maintenance. • Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of procedures, materials and tools used in commercial building remodels and cabinet construction. • Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of uniform electrical and building codes. • Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building and mechanical trades. • Develops through training program and then exhibits through knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials used in the building trades. • Develops through training program and then exhibits ability to inspect systems and buildings to detect existing or potential problems. • Develops through training program and then exhibits ability to read and understand blueprints. • Develops through training program and then exhibits ability to analyze situations and develop an effective course of action.

Pay Range is $23.86 to $33.40 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
