Join a global finance organization supporting the Finance One optimization program within a shared services environment. In this role, you will perform advanced accounting activities, support month-end close processes, review key financial transactions, and collaborate with local and regional finance teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting across countries in scope. What You Will Do
• Perform complex accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to support timely and accurate financial records.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for intercompany accounting processes and related transactions.
• Analyze financial statements and investigate variances, discrepancies, and reporting issues.
• Coordinate close activities and support delivery of critical accounting deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Execute assigned internal control activities, including compliance with audit and financial reporting requirements.
• Partner with local accounting teams to resolve accounting inquiries and reconciliation issues within established timelines.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, deliver training to team members, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardization.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a shared services center or multinational organization.
• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QAD.
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
• Portuguese language proficiency.
