Grade Level (for internal use): 14Job Title: Executive Director, ES Revenue Strategy & Execution Reporting To: CRO, Enterprise Solutions
Role Overview The Executive Director, ES Revenue Strategy & Execution is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and sales excellence across three business lines: Lending, Markets & Regulatory, and Data, Pricing, Valuations & Analytics. Partnering with ES revenue leaders, you will design strategies that accelerate new sales and improve net revenue retention. Additionally, you will orchestrate leadership team alignment, lead high-priority special projects to help both retention and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities 1. Enterprise Revenue Strategy & Execution
• Act as a strategic sounding board and trusted advisor to the CRO, providing unbiased perspectives on business performance, team dynamics, and strategic direction.
• Responsible for coordinating key decisions and ensure accountability and follow-through on cross-functional action items.
• Incubate and lead critical, cross-functional special projects and strategic initiatives that do not naturally sit within a single department.
• Develop and implement revenue strategies, including ideal customer profile refinement, segmentation, value proposition alignment, packaging, and go-to-market recommendations.
• Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and removing execution barriers across Sales, Commercial, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
2. Revenue Transformation & Retention
• Design and execute programs to drive new sales, client retention, and NRR improvement, including expansion initiatives, renewal excellence, and value realization.
• Coordinate the creation of the ESAM function.
• Analyze churn and contraction drivers, develop remediation plans, and assign accountable owners.
• Partner with Commercial and Product teams to establish a customer outcomes and value framework supporting renewals and expansions.
3. Organizational Design & Operating Model
• Support the development of future-state organizational structures, including role clarity, coverage models, and decision rights.
• Evaluate and recommend models by segment, region, and business line.
• Define and implement scalable operating mechanisms (planning, pipeline governance, performance management).
4. Cross-Business Line Integration
• Integrate strategies across Lending, Markets & Regulatory, and Data, Pricing, Valuations & Analytics to ensure a consistent enterprise client experience and account strategy.
• Drive coherent multi-product positioning, bundling, and unified enterprise planning.
• Develop business line growth narratives and investment cases, identifying areas for focus and improvement.
5. Performance Management & Metrics
• Define and operationalize a unified view of enterprise performance (e.g., new sales, NRR, GRR, pipeline health, conversion metrics, cohort performance).
• Drive forecasting discipline, pipeline inspection, deal reviews, and performance analysis.
• Partner with RevOps and Finance to ensure consistent metric definitions, data quality, and reporting.
Key Deliverables (First 6–12 Months)
• Establishment of a high-functioning executive office rhythm and streamlined decision-making process.
• Enterprise Solutions new sales, NRR, and retention improvement plan with clear initiatives, ownership, and impact tracking.
• Standardized enterprise KPI system, operating cadence, and leadership meeting structure adopted globally.
• Delivery of clear business line strategy summaries and board-level reporting materials.
• Improved forecast accuracy and pipeline quality through consistent governance.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years in strategy, revenue/sales operations, or people management roles within enterprise solutions type environment (SaaS, fintech, reg tech, data/analytics, or related sectors).
• Experience in working with senior sales/commercial leaders in enterprise software and managed services.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to build and deliver key stakeholder presentations.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in at least two of the three business lines (Lending, Markets & Regulatory, and Data, Pricing, Valuations & Analytics) or related domains.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations and multi-region enterprise coverage models.
