About this role
[What the role is] You will be working in the School of Applied Science to plan, develop and teach food science and technology specialised learning units for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners. [What you will be working on]
• Responsible for curriculum development and delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET). • Coach and mentor students and be involved in student development activities beyond the classroom. • Collaborate with industry to enhance students’ learning. • Participate in committees and contribute to administrative/ management tasks #LI-Hybrid
[What we are looking for]
• Relevant qualification in Food Science & Technology or related degree • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Exposure to food business development and marketing will be an added advantage. • Passionate about training, mentoring and motivating youth and adult learners • Proficient in IT applications. Familiarity with data analytics and AI tools will be an added advantage. • People-oriented individual with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Keen interest in developing new capabilities through projects and self-learning
