Qualifications for a Post Doctoral Residents:
• Doctoral Degree: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completed Internship: Completion of an APA-accredited internship program.
• EPPP: Must pass EPPP prior to coming on board with Deer Oaks.
• Provisional Licensure: Eligibility for provisional licensure as a psychologist in Texas.
• Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Professional References: Provision of professional references, including clinical supervisors or academic mentors.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ethical Conduct: Adherence to the APA Code of Ethics and state regulations.
