As a Shop Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, building strong teams, and delivering the exceptional customer experience that Craftsman Collision is known for.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily shop operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.

• Provide coaching, direction, and support to a diverse team of technicians, estimators, and coordinators.

• Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer care.

• Manage shop financials, KPIs, payroll, and vendor relationships.

• Promote Craftsman Collision in the community and support business development initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, company policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered

• Strong understanding of operations, budgeting, and expense management

• I-CAR Platinum certification would be an asset

• 5 years of progressive and/or related experience, including experience in sales, customer service, management or leadership would be an asset

• Proficiency in Mitchell Estimating, Audatex, ALLDATA is preferred but not required

• Knowledge and proficiency in ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies is preferred

• Strong verbal, written and listening skills, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers

• Demonstrated aptitude to prioritize tasks based on comparative importance and urgency

• A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Proven experience effectively leading a team in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated time management, problem solving, critical thinking and sound judgement skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with customer service-oriented attitude

• Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms with the ability and willingness to learn new applications

• Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development

• Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restriction

• Ability to travel occasionally within Canada and to the US for company functions
