About this role
Hours: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm Starting Pay: $21.50 + 10% shift differential.
This position is eligible for a $2,100.00 Sign-On Bonus!
• $700.00 after 90 days
• $700.00 after 6 months
• $700.00 after 1 year of employment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Blend's defect free capping per the recipe provided utilizing the blending equipment and work cell.
• Maintains and monitors cap blending material in the racks ensuring there is adequate supply to meet operation demand.
• Communicates with scheduling, purchasing and operations staff to plan and schedule batching to meet operation demand.
• Moves material to and from various locations throughout the plant and into storage racks via fork truck.
• Ensures the area is kept clean and orderly.
• Assists in recycling of cardboard and other waste products.
• Conducts or assists with physical inventory of capping material
• Performs additional material handling duties as needed by supervision/management.
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months in a similar position a plus
• Forklift Certification required
• Previous experience with blending equipment a plus
• Basic computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business
