The Assistant Deli Manager is a key leadership role, responsible for supporting the Deli Manager in all aspects of deli operations. Responsibilities:
• Assist in the daily operation of the deli, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Supervise and train deli staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee food preparation, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
• Assist in sales initiatives, contributing to the achievement of sales targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the deli, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
• Utilize computer literacy.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of food services operation.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License.
• General knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
