About this role
The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Caseworker to join our Diversion, Shelter and Housing (DSH) program. This case worker will be working with people who have been homeless or unhoused.
Your role as a Caseworker:
The Caseworker will be apart of our Rapid Supported Housing team which is a 23-bed housing program for those who have been homeless or unhoused. Using a Housing First, harm-reductive, and trauma-informed approach, the program aims to meet the individual where they are, support and stabilize, and graduate to more independent living.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution preferred
• Substance abuse and mental health experience preferred
• Multiple years of experience in case management and social services preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Required valid Massachusetts driver's license with ability to pass background driving record check
• Required vehicle readily available on site and throughout all work hours
• Approved criminal background check (CORI)

Schedule: This is a full-time position, candidates will work an 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.
