42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday- Friday)

About the role:

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our team as part of a social housing damp and mould contract in Peterborough. This is a dynamic, office and field-based leadership role where you’ll oversee the delivery of reactive repairs and damp & mould works across occupied properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role with a strong pipeline of work and a growing presence in the area. You’ll play a key part in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and ready for residents, making a real impact in the community.

Duties:

Supervise the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and damp & mould works across occupied homesTake overall responsibility for supervising damp and mould activity, ensuring works are completed in line with contractual, legislative, and quality standardsEnsure all repairs are completed safely, on time, and to agreed quality standardsCarry out regular site visits to monitor repairs and damp & mould works progress, resolve issues, and maintain resident satisfactionInspection of equipmentAllocate operatives, subcontractors, and resources effectively to meet repairs KPIs and contractual targetsPlan and manage repairs workloads to minimise disruption to residentsEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures across all repairs and damp & mould activityComplete post-inspection quality checks and ensure any remedial actions are fully closed outLead, support, and performance manage repairs operatives, providing day-to-day supervision and coachingIdentify skills gaps and support training and development within the repairs team, particularly around damp and mould worksApply HR policies relating to attendance, conduct, and performance managementManage repairs assets including vans, tools, PPE, and van stockMonitor materials usage and order supplies to support cost-effective repairs deliveryUse repairs systems and reports to track performance, productivity, and job completionAct as a point of contact for residents, resolving repairs and damp & mould issues professionally and promptlyLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate repairs deliverySupport contract mobilisation, audits, and continuous improvement within repairs servicesAssist with cost control, forecasting, and identifying efficiencies within repairs operationsProvide supervisory cover during absences or periods of peak repairs demandAttend toolbox talks, repairs briefings, training, and company meetingsEnsure all repairs activities reflect company values and a professional service at all times Role Criteria:

Experience in a Supervisor role within social housing, ideally delivering damp & mould and property condition worksStrong knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards within housing repairsRelevant City & Guilds (or equivalent) trade qualificationFull UK driving licenceProven ability to lead and manage damp & mould focused repairs teamsResident-focused communicator with a practical, solutions-driven approachWell organised, decisive, and effective in a fast-paced repairs environmentConfident working with systems, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Benefits we can offer you.
