Receptionist/Student Data Manager TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Non-Exempt, 10-Month Position; Full-Time 40hr/wk SALARY: Salary Scale 4-10 Based on Qualifications and Experience QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate required; associates degree in related area preferred; or 5 years of relevant experience involving a large variety of complex duties required; high level of computer proficiency required; ability to work with confidentiality; good communication skills; ability to interpret, analyze and report information; dependable; with good job attendance record with previous employers. DUTIES: Receptionist
Including, but not limited to: answering the telephone, taking and relaying messages with accuracy; greeting and assisting visitors to the school; typing and secretarial duties for administration; copy work within the school; other duties as assigned by principal and/or Superintendent. Student Data Manager- Daily maintenance of the student information database (NCSIS) and physical records to including all aspects of student records (attendance, grades, demographics, class schedules, test scores, immunizations, enrolments, withdrawals etc.); prepares correspondence to parents to advise them of excessive absences according to established policies; facilitates transfer of student records between schools; maintains information for reporting areas; prepares customized reports for local and state needs; other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent.
