General Maintenance/School Grounds Position available ASAP 8 Hours Day 235 Days QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each performance responsibility and its associated duty satisfactory. The qualification requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on the job description.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Valid and current New Mexico Operator's license.
• Knowledge of operating maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance
• Knowledge of maintaining irrigation systems
• Knowledge of maintaining and repairing interior and exterior building structures
• Ability to read and interpret instructions in order to perform maintenance services and maintain maintenance records.
• Knowledge of organizational pattern of the district sites and/or schools.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of maintenance procedures in the inventory of supplies and materials, handling of all types of materials and equipment and use of materials and equipment in all types of maintenance.
• Physical abilities to perform the physical tasks required of this position.
• Able to use technology to perform maintenance responsibilities.
• Uses effective people skills to communicate.
