About this role
Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified applicants for a Campus Security position at Pickerington High School Central. This is a 7.5-hours per day position, 188 day contract. Position is for the 26-27 contract year and a one-year limited contract for the 26-27 contract year. Contract will be non-renewed after the 26-27 contract year.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalency • Experience with video/surveillance equipment preferred • Ability to anticipate problems and unforeseen events and deal with them in an appropriate manner • Ability to maintain a calm attitude and sense of control at all times • Ability to make proper decisions when required • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing • Must possess high moral character • Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic • Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations • Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
