About this role
Junior High Volleyball Coach Paton-Churdan Community School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior High Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our junior high volleyball program. Responsibilities
• Plan and conduct effective practices and competitions.
• Teach and develop student-athletes' volleyball skills, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
• Provide leadership, encouragement, and mentorship to student-athletes.
• Collaborate with school administration, coaching staff, and other stakeholders.
• Support the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
• Follow all school district, conference, and state athletic association rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and game strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, staff, and the community.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain the appropriate Iowa coaching license prior to coaching.
• Successful completion of required background checks and other employment requirements.
