Job Type Description Berkeley County Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Multi-Categorical Special Education / Autism Teacher. The successful applicant will work with students in accordance with their IEP's, along with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience. If a NBCT accepts the position, they will be paid an additional $2000 stipend in addition to their salary, benefits, and NBCT stipend.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy. Bachelor's degree and holds or can obtain West Virginia teacher certification in multi-categorical spec. ed. (LD, BD, MI) with appropriate grade levels. If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
