NOTICE OF VACANCY INTERNAL & EXTERNAL POSTING HUDSON AREA SCHOOLS 771 NORTH MAPLE GROVE AVENUE HUDSON, MICHIGAN 49247 POSITIONS: 6th Grade Math Teacher LOCATION: Hudson Middle School CLASSIFICATION: Math Teacher STARTING DATE: August 24, 2026 HOURS: Per HEA Contract PAY RATE: Per HEA Contract REQUIREMENTS: Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate. At least three years of successful teaching experience preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Shall be able to instruct students in a 6th Grade classroom setting individually and in group settings. Shall have the leadership ability and skill necessary to organize, implement, maintain, and evaluate a comprehensive program. Shall have the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors and parents. Shall have the knowledge of theories of learning appropriate for 6th grade.
