Lake Mary Elementary School is seeking an exceptional Literacy Coach who is passionate about improving student achievement through high-quality literacy instruction and teacher development. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can facilitate data-driven PLCs, provide meaningful coaching and feedback, hold supportive yet courageous conversations, and ensure consistent implementation of schoolwide instructional expectations. Candidates must hold a Florida Reading Endorsement or Reading Certification and demonstrate a proven ability to impact both teacher practice and student outcomes.

Seminole County Public Schools uses the statewide screening database, Care Provider Clearinghouse to determine the eligibility of prospective employees. The Care Provider Clearinghouse is administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals. The Clearinghouse allows the results of criminal history checks to be shared among participating agencies, reducing duplication and costs; including more up to date information and on-line tracking of the screening process.
