Position Profile Position: Coordinator I: Program Support Department: Mann Middle School Reports To: FTE: 1.0 Days/Year: 207/260 Salary Schedule: 2026–2027 Educational Support Professional Salary Schedule Paygrade: A24/N24 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Compensation & Benefits Summary Position Summary The Coordinator I: Program Support position supports the implementation and day-to-day coordination of district programs, services, or operational processes within an assigned department. This role focuses on ensuring program activities are organized, documented, and implemented effectively while supporting departmental staff and stakeholders. This position also works within established procedures and provides administrative and operational support to ensure programs run efficiently and meet district expectations. This position includes Study Hall Supervisor duties along with providing direct supervision, behavioral support, and skill development for students who require additional assistance to be successful in the school setting. This position works closely with school administrators, special education staff, counselors, and classroom teachers to develop and implement individualized supports that help students build self-regulation, positive decision-making, social-emotional competencies, and essential life skills. Through relationship-building, consistent expectations, the specialist helps students overcome behavioral barriers, increase classroom engagement, and develop the skills necessary for long-term academic and personal success. • Assist with coordinating program activities, schedules, and communications.

• Support the implementation of department initiatives and projects.

• Maintain documentation and program records.

Operational Support

• Monitor program processes and assist with daily operations.

• Track program participation, schedules, and deliverables.

• Maintain internal systems, databases, and reporting tools.

Data and Reporting

• Compile program data and assist with preparing reports.

• Maintain accurate records to support program accountability.

Collaboration

• Communicate with internal staff regarding program processes.

• Provide logistical support for meetings, trainings, or program activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of

• Program coordination and administrative support practices within a public-sector or K-12 educational environment.

• Organizational procedures, documentation practices, and recordkeeping requirements.

• Data tracking, reporting processes, and basic data management principles.

• Office systems, databases, and program tracking tools used to maintain records and monitor participation.

• Project and program implementation processes, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation.

• Customer service practices when supporting internal staff, schools, or stakeholders.

• District policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements related to student or program data.

Skills in

• Organizing and coordinating multiple tasks, schedules, and program activities simultaneously.

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for program tracking and compliance.

• Data entry, spreadsheet management, and basic reporting using office software systems.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Required: 2–3 years of related administrative or program support experience

• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, data management, education, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience working in a K–12 school district or educational environment.

• Preferred: Experience generating reports and analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.

• Preferred: Experience training or supporting staff on procedures or systems.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work is primarily sedentary with periods of light activity. Essential functions may include walking or standing for brief periods; lifting and carrying materials up to 20 pounds; climbing stairs; bending; reaching; handling objects; and operating a computer and standard office equipment. The role requires effective communication and the ability to receive and process information through normal or aided vision, hearing, or other assisted means. Work is performed in a district office or administrative setting with regular collaboration across departments and external partners, and may include occasional evening or weekend responsibilities.
