Description: Cafeteria Operator (2026-2027 School Year)
Salary: $14.53 per hour base salary (based on full time experiemce) *A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work
Location: Darlington County Schools
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or high school equivalent required • A minimum of one (1) year food service experience or equivalent • Driver's License required • Supervisory references preferred • Positive employment history preferred • SLED/criminal background review required • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: "At-will" Employee Job Duties:
• Performs a variety of food service activities including preparing standardized recipes and serving food for students • Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment, serving area, and cafeteria seating area • Interact in a postive manner with students, facilty/staff, others working in kitchen and the general public • Operate institutional food services quipment • Perform other related duties as required
