POSITION: Substitute School Nurse (Tempory/As Needed)
Location: District Schools
Qualifications:
Required:
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of SC
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in school nursing, public health nursing, or community health nursing with children.
Performance Responsibilities Include:
• Responds to emergencies and accidents as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication in compliance with district policy and follows protocol of emergency medication.
• Provides information to parents, students, and staff concerning health matters.
• Monitors health room and equipment.
