MSAD #35 Position Title: Community Engagement Coordinator- Health Care Pathways Focus Reports to: High School Principal Prepared By: Assistant Superintendent of Schools Date Reviewed: July 24, 2026 Start date: September 1, 2026 or when a suitable candidate is found Position Summary: This person will work closely with the MHS school counseling department, MHS administrators and the ELO coordinator to design and implement a viable healthcare focused career pathway for students. This will include developing community partnerships to support clinical experiences for students and supporting the curricular aspects of the program. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in a health care related field preferred
• Maine Department of Education Fingerprinting required.
Term and Compensation This is a 2 year, grant funded position. Hours are somewhat flexible, 20 hours/week Rate of pay is $40/hour Pro-rated benefits available Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities outlined below are representative and do not encompass or define all tasks that may be required by this position. • Collaborate with the district ELO coordinator to expand community partners and opportunities for Marshwood Students
• Support the development of a healthcare career exploration pathway for Marshwood students
• Collaborate regularly with MHS counselors and administrators
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
