About this role
The Eric L Knowlton School is seeking a Behavior Interventionist. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing behavior plans, knowledge of trauma-informed practices, and the ability to design and teach social/emotional learning lessons to small groups. A qualified candidate will have expert knowledge of function-based intervention planning for developing behavior change strategies. They will understand the principles of reinforcement and design positive behavior support plans in collaboration with teachers and parents. Additionally, they will work cooperatively with administration to promote positive student behavior by providing professional development that targets research, strategies and modeling of instructional practices to support teachers in their classrooms.
