New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking applicants for an Instructional Assistant (Contract) to provide support for students with IEPs at the High School in the 2026/2027 School Year. Qualifications: Associate's required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working with secondary-level students is essential. PA Special Education Certification and/or teaching experience are preferred qualifications. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:
• Participate in daily and long-range planning and communication with the teachers.
• Provide support to student instructionally and behaviorally in a small group or individually
• Administer assessments and collect data when needed.
• Supervision of students as necessary.
• Work with assigned student to supervise in lunch and other non-instructional time.
• Maintain individual and collective record keeping for assigned student.
• Provide all necessary supports, adaptations, and modifications for students with disabilities as assigned such as but not limited to: toileting, assistance with student's menses care, personal grooming, daily self-help tasks, transfers to and from wheelchairs, support for participation in general and special education classrooms.
