School Nurse (RN) 10 Month The School Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing student medical/health procedures as required during the school day, with parent permission according to a physician's order in accordance with the Tennessee Nursing Practice Act, applicable state laws, and the Greeneville City Schools job description. This position requires the ability to become proficient in the use of computer software used for school health records. The full time position will work 40 hours per week and DOES include benefits. Current valid unrestricted license to practice as an RN in the state of Tennessee is required. CPR BLS by American Heart Certification required prior to start date. Minimum of one (1) year experience in pediatric nursing, public health nursing, school health nursing, or community health nursing preferred. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
