Position: Teacher, 5th Grade Math Location: Bayshore Elementary This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate in subject area assigned
• ESL Certification preferred
• Alternative Certification Program applicants must have passed content exam(s) and hold a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) to be eligible for employment
Responsibilities:
• Specific knowledge of subject assigned
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Salary:
• $63,000 for Beginning teacher with "0" years experience (based on 2025-2026 Compensation Plan)
• $1,000 Master's Degree addenda
• Additional $1,000 Doctorate Degree addenda
Pay Grade: Certified Instructional, 10 Duty Months Other Information: Apply online, including your letter of interest and resume. Three references must be provided or received, including a reference from your current building principal and supervisor. ACP Candidates must attach the Statement of Eligibility (SOE). The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
