Pay Grade: .35A Days: 174 Days (172 for Dual Role Employees) Funding Source: 100% Local (199) JOB TITLE: Bus Monitor for Special Education REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation DEPARTMENT/SCHOOL: Transportation Department WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Non-Exempt PRIMARY PURPOSE: Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have high school diploma or equivalent; Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and communicate effectively; Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment; Ability to work well with children.
