Position: Head Softball Coach at RHS
Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED; licensed instructor preferred * Valid New Mexico Coaching licensure or eligibility * Attain NMAA Coaching Certifications *Must demonstrate willingness to work in a cooperative working environment *Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills *Preference given to certified staff *CDL is preferred, or willing to obtain CDL
Responsibilities * Ensures responsibility for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of the coaching of the team under his/her direction. * Enforces all rules of the state and national association as they pertain to track. * Cooperates with the administration, athletic coordinator/director, fellow coaches and students to promote the best interests of the entire athletic program. * Teaches advanced skills and strategies in track. * Combines the abilities of individual students into a team effort with the focus on enthusiastic competition in the spirit of fair play, good sportsmanship and friendship. * Works productively as part of a team. * Other duties as assigned.
