Job Description: Desire to work with school-aged children with disabilities Work with and instruct students with disabilities Collaborate with educational support staff, related service providers and administrators Regularly communicate special education students progress/needs to staff Communicate with teachers and school administration on student issues as needed Participate in school faculty meetings and staff development workshops offered by the district Enforce and uphold all District and Program/Building policies, rules, and regulations Perform other duties assigned Setting: Small group or individual support opportunities Work with seasoned support staff Excellent school and district support Competitive benefit package No prior experience required but helpful Tuition reimbursement
Qualifications Required: Able to secure or currently have Maine Educational Technician Certification III Meets Federal and State requirements Be a collaborative team member Has a High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher MEIS # must be provided
