About this role
At the present time we have openings for after school Bus Aides at Musselman Learning Center within the Norristown Area School District. Job requirements & Responsibilities:
• Maintains order and safety. Free driver to concentrate on safe driving practices.
• Demonstrates patience and understanding. Offer support and direction to children with behavioral difficulties.
• Provides physical assistance to students who have difficulty climbing on or off bus.
• Enforces school discipline code on the bus and reports infractions to teacher and principal.
• Maintains confidentiality in discussing special education students.
• Works amiably and cooperatively with bus drivers, teachers, aides, parents, etc.
• Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance patterns.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4-5 hours per day: Staff will need to be available in the morning and afternoon bus run times. Rate: $22.36 per hour
