About this role
Migrant Education Program Recruiter Basic Function: Plan, organize, implement and coordinate with the Pulaski County Migrant Education Program to provide educational resources and services to Migrant Students and families and recruit new families into the program. Responsibilities
• Identify and recruit families for program enrollment
• Coordinate with other recruiter to find new families and businesses willing to cooperate with our program
• Maintain accurate records for all recruitment efforts
• Actively search for improved methods of serving the migrant population
• Make home visit, when necessary, to meet families and engage with students
• Encourage family involvement in school related activities
• Provide educational materials for the home as needed
• Provide families with modeling, coaching or trainings as needed
• Maintain partnerships with outside agencies to supplement program resources and provide optimal services for children and families
• Maintain confidentiality as in accordance with FERPA laws
• Abide by school and district policies
• Complete all other duties assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience: Recruiter must have a high school diploma. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. Experience working with children and families is preferred. Terms of Employment: Recruiter will complete a contract of 200 days.
