About this role

Intervention Specialist (K-6) Bensalem Township School District is seeking qualified applicants for a Long-Term Substitute Intervention Specialist (K-6) position for Cornwells Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The Intervention Specialist will provide targeted academic support, monitor student progress, and collaborate with teachers and staff to support student achievement. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a Title I Interventionist.

• Collect and analyze student data to support instructional decisions.

• Facilitate and support the MTSS process.

• Provide evidence-based literacy and math interventions.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Certificate

• One of the following certifications:

• K-6 Elementary Education Certification; or

• K-4 Elementary Education Certification and 4-8 Elementary Education Certification.

• Knowledge of evidence-based literacy and math intervention strategies.

• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and diverse populations.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
