Norris Middle School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered educator to serve as an Interim 8th Grade Math Teacher. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about building strong relationships, delivering engaging instruction, and helping every student achieve success. Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with Tennessee Academic Standards.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth.
• Use assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with grade-level and content-area teams through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Perform all other duties associated with the classroom teacher role.
Qualifications
• Valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate endorsement, or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics content and instructional best practices.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of high expectations and student success.
