Position Criteria:
• Valid Iowa teaching license, preferred but not required
• Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
• Must exhibit ethical practices, and be a role model to students
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Performance Criteria:
• Assist head coach/sponsor with an needed mock trial activities
• Conduct team meetings and
• Keep parents and team members informed of scheduled practices and scrimmages
• Inform team members of district rules and procedures of tournament
• Instruct team members on proper trial decorum and appearance
• Help students construct case theme and line questioning
• Coordinate plans with the 8th and 10th-12th grade coaches/sponsors to ensure organization and continuity
