Education Liaison - Graduation Specialist | 7.5 Hours | 10 Month Work Calendar | Temporary Internal Classified employees are not eligible to apply for open positions during their probationary period of employment. Hiring Administrator: Arcema Tovar GENERAL DUTIES: Develop community partnerships and identity qualifying assistance programs. Connect students with community and school resources that advance student achievement. Coordinate student engagement in programs and activities. Mentor students in available college and career pathways. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's Degree or its equivalent

• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English

• Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications

• Hold a valid Oregon Driver's License

• Two years of experience connecting students with activities and programs

• Knowledge of community programs and services that support students and families

• "Highly Qualified" status Required (two years of post-secondary education or an associates (or higher) degree; or District approved academic assessment)

• Bilingual English/Spanish Required (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool)
