Job Description Employer: Galu Limited Position: Welder / Metal Fabricator Galu Limited specialises in the manufacturing of high-quality buffer tanks. Due to continued business expansion, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will contribute to the fabrication and assembly of metal components in accordance with company and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out welding and steel fabrication tasks in line with established manufacturing specifications and job requirements Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans Fabricate and assemble metal components with precision and attention to detail Assist in the manufacture of buffer tanks, ensuring compliance with company quality standards Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping in the workshop Work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in welding and steel fabrication Proven workshop-based fabrication experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately Strong practical welding skills and understanding of fabrication processes Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Experience in tank manufacturing is an advantage but not essential Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience Opportunities for career progression and skills development Supportive and professional working environment
