Monaghan Showjumping are currently looking for a Farm Manager to be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of Monaghan Showjumping in their site at Hodgestown, Kilcock, Co. Kildare. The role involves overseeing the care, training support, breeding, and management of showjumping horses, maintaining farm facilities, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the equestrian enterprise while maintaining the highest standards of horse welfare, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the showjumping yard and farm. Oversee the care, feeding, grooming, and welfare of all horses. Supervise horse exercise programmes and coordinate with riders, trainers, veterinarians, farriers, physiotherapists, and other equine professionals. Develop and implement feeding, pasture, and stable management programmes. Schedule and supervise farm and stable staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Maintain stables, arenas, paddocks, fencing, horse walkers, machinery, and all farm facilities to a high standard. Maintain accurate records relating to horse identification, health treatments, vaccinations, breeding, transport, competitions, and financial transactions. Assist with the preparation of horses and facilities for competitions, inspections, and client visits. Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements to maximise efficiency and maintain high standards throughout the enterprise.
