Western Alzheimers is currently recruiting for Healthcare Support Assistants within our Day Care facilities. This is a CE Placement and a great opportunity for someone looking to return to work, up-skill and gain further experience working with our elderly clients in a healthcare setting, while also allowing you to further your career, by participating in healthcare support training which will help you achieve your QQI /FETAC Level 5. Coaching and mentoring will be provided, to develop your confidence and competencies within your role. Duties include caring for people with Alzheimers Disease/Dementia, assisting with personal care, preparing meals, social engagement, stimulating therapeutic activities & cleanliness of the day care centre & kitchen. etc. If you feel you have the essential qualities and are eligible for CE scheme to work with us.
