About this role
Key Responsibilities: Place, spread, level, and finish concrete for foundations, plinths, bases, footpaths, kerbing, and reinstatement works. Produce high-quality concrete finishes using hand and power tools. Carry out screeding, floating, edging, and joint finishing. Assist with the preparation of formwork and reinforcement where required. Ensure correct curing methods are applied to achieve specified concrete strength and finish. Read and follow construction drawings and site specifications. Work closely with Site Supervisors, Engineers, and other members of the utility gang. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area. Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and relevant Irish regulations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher on civil engineering or construction projects. Safe Pass. Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, and curing techniques. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel and work on projects throughout Ireland. Full clean driving licence is an advantage.
