The University of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Building Maintenance Craftsperson (Painter/Decorator) to work within the Estates Team at County Hospital. You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a large team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to the hospital. Your duties will include carrying out maintenance and repair to the hospitals building fabric.
Main duties of the job
The University Hospitals of North Midlands is looking to recruit an experienced painter/decorator trained to City & Guilds Level or equivalent NVQ on a permanent basis. You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a skilled team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to County Hospital. Your duties will include the painting and decorating (internally and externally), including wall and minor flooring repairs, of the various buildings on the hospital site as well providing a flexible approach to other disciplines when required.
It is essential that you are an effective team worker, with the ability to provide support to other craft staff within the Estates Department providing an efficient and cost effective system of maintenance and installation of building services and associated equipment.
The salary is band 3 plus an R&R premium.
