Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly, high performing GMS Practice, based in a purpose built health centre within the market town of Royal Wootton Bassett, just off the M4 in Wiltshire.
Our current team has two partners (one Senior Partner GP and one Managing Partner), three salaried GPs, a PCN GP and a Qualified Physician Associate. We would like to appoint a salaried GP for 6 sessions per week and are flexible regarding working hours. We are also committed to maintaining resilience by managing workload and recruiting and developing a highly skilled team.
Main duties of the job
6 x sessions per week (1 day (2 sessions) as duty doctor and 4 x routine sessions. Salary negotiable, dependent on experience. NHS Pension. 6 weeks holiday /1 x week study leave. Active encouragement to develop clinical, academic or leadership interests.

GMS Contract. Patient list size of 8,600. High QOF & enhanced services achievement. CQC Rating of Good last inspected 8th January 2020. Pro-active member of North Wiltshire Border Primary Care Network (NWB PCN) along with 5 other local practices. SystmOne Clinical System. Supportive training practice (2026 Grading: Excellent) Home visits are allocated to our Specialist Practitioners. Our Clinical Pharmacist team support prescribing and medication reviews. Our proactive admin team filter and manage all incoming documentation.
