Job summary
Cleveland House is looking to recruit a Unit Nurse Manager to join the team. This is a full time, 38.5 hour role.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
As Unit Manager, you will be part of the Senior Nursing Team, assisting the Service Manager and working collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary team and other Unit Leads to ensure a high-quality patient focused service is provided.
Assist with the clinical management of the unit, maintaining high standards of nursing practice and promoting the philosophy of patient and family centred careSupport the Service Manager in undertaking personal development reviews, risk assessments and management, managing clinical incidents, department audits, data collection for nursing indicatorsEnsure communication with nurses and healthcare assistants is accurate and is patient centred and safety huddles are carried out on a daily basis. Cleveland House is located in Banks, Southport, in the west of Lancashire. It offers residential support for 32 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI), progressive neurological condition (PNC) and associated physical health needs. We are located on a residential housing estate.
Our team are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our residents in a safe and homely environment. From personal care, rehabilitation to social activities, we aim to provide a range of services that promote physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.
