Job summary

We are seeking a proactive and friendly Administration Team Member to join our busy team. You will play a vital role in supporting patients, visitors, and external agencies by ensuring clear, professional communication and smooth administrative processes. This position is central to the efficient running of the administration function and requires strong knowledge of protocols, excellent teamwork, and effective communication across all staff groups.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

Communication management: Respond to and forward enquiries from patients and external organisations. Registrations and deductions: Process new patient registrations and manage deductions accurately. Records management: Maintain and update patient records in line with policies. Internal communications: Support the flow of information across teams. Administrative support: Handle scanning, photocopying, reporting, and general office tasks. Data requests: Manage subject access requests in compliance with regulations. Ad-hoc support: Assist the administration and management team with additional duties as required

Person Specification

Skills Essential

Good interpersonal and communication skills Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and internet software and a good level of experience with computer systems in general

Desirable

Experience using SystmOne

Qualifications Essential

5 GCSEs (including Maths & English) or equivalent

Experience Essential

Experience working in a busy office environment

Desirable

Experience within the health sector
