This is an exciting opportunity to support Operational HR across the Divisional Teams. This is far more than a traditional administration role, you will be at the centre of key workforce activites, leading a team, coordinating HR process, supporting workforce compliance and helping to ensure our organisation attracts, recruits and supports the talented colleagues who deliver outstanding patient care every day.

Main duties of the job

Working alongside another HR Team Leader, you will provide operational leadership for a busy HR Administration function, overseeing medical recruitment, resident doctor changeover programmes and workforce compliance. With the opportunity to develop wider HR Advisory skills as you will report directly into Senior HR Advisors who will provide oversight and leadership guidance and work with you build and develop skills.

You will oversee the end-to-end recruitment activity for medical colleagues, including consultant appointments and resident doctor onboarding, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and service delivery are maintained. You will also work closely with HR Business partners, and HR Advisory colleagues to deliver workforce priorties.

As a Key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to influence and improve HR systems, streamlining processe and using data and insight to drive continuous improvement across the service.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You will have experience within HR administration and be confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Ideally, you'll have experience of NHS HR processes, recruitment systems and workforce compliance activity.

You will also bring:

CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience in a relevant field). Experience coordinating HR or administrative processes. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Experience supervising, coordinating or leading the work of others. A commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.

CIPD Level 3

Shortlisting Essential

CIPD Level 3 or equivalent level of qualification wihtin a relevant field and demonstrable experience within HR administration Active CIPD Membership or willingness to obtain Experience of HR Administration ideally within an NHS Setting Knowledge of HR processes and NHS Terms and Conditions of Service. Experience of coordinating multiple processes within set SOP's, managing competing priorities. Experience of co-ordinating or supervising work activities or teams Standard Keyboard skills Line management experience to supervise and co-ordinate HR Assistants activities. Excellent communicator across a wide range of internal colleagues Able to use systems for data entry, extracting information to report around relevant KPI's

Experience of Resident doctor change over processes Experience of Medical Recruitment processes Experience of using HR Systems (e.g ESR, TRAC recruitment system) Experience of overseeing compliance to successfully manage key performance indicators
