Are you an experienced, dynamic leader passionate about transforming children's healthcare? Join West London Children's Healthcare (WLCH) as a Programme and Innovation Manager and drive high-impact initiatives across North West London.You'll collaborate with clinical teams, commissioning partners, and stakeholders to deliver innovative programmes that improve outcomes for children and young people.
This pivotal role will provide a highly effective management function for programme initiatives that are facilitated by our organisation, supporting the development and delivery of high impact programmes that span the entire North West London region. From enhancing mental health support in acute settings to advancing care pathways in epilepsy and transition services, the post holder will take on a portfolio of highly impactful programmes that will continue to change, and work with a highly skilled MDT to shape and innovative integrated solutions that improve outcomes for children and young people.
The successful candidate will champion service improvement, foster cross organisational collaboration, and ensure programmes are aligned with strategic priorities and delivered in a highly organised and timely manner.This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of children and young people, touching pathways that are key to the delivery of the ten year plan and improving the lives of our population both in the hospital and outside!
Main duties of the job
You will work across a complex and evolving portfolio of programmes, relationships, challenges, and innovations that contribute to service transformation for children and young people. You will be expected to think laterally, build strong and trusted relationships quickly, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will bring a strong appetite for analytics, evidence, and learning into everything you do, and demonstrate the ability to rapidly understand new clinical and operational subjects. Show a commitment to learning, self-reflection, appraisal, and development, including undertaking an annual Personal Development Review and supporting others to do the same. Engage proactively in available project opportunities, with an expectation of contributing to project work for approximately 70-80% of your time, often working on several programmes simultaneously, and balancing short term deliverables with longer-term strategic goals. This is a guideline rather than a formal performance metric, intended to support effective workload and resource planning. The post-holder is responsible for shaping and overseeing the delivery of projects (including coordinating research, analysis, and materials production), working with significant self-direction and directing others; and for managing various inputs to ensure the completion of projects to time and within the allocated resources.

Bachelors qualification or equivalent experience
