Job SummaryThis position is located at USAG Ansbach - MWR, Katterbach Outdoor Recreation Program, Katterbach, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience OR a combination of experience and education that provided the knowledge of the goals, principles, methods, and techniques of recreation programs and an understanding of the interests of individuals or groups. Completion of the requirements for a bachelor's degree with major study in outdoor recreation and parks; recreation management; youth, public, urban or community recreation; or special population recreation is qualifying experience. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Ability to obtain and maintain a Class 2 or 3 license (B, BE, D or DE) to drive vehicles and vehicles with trailers. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager. Major DutiesPlans, schedules, organizes and implements outdoor activities.Such activities include but are not limited to cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, canoeing, camping, trips, skeet shooting, parks, ranges, mountain climbing and overnight recreational trips.Demonstrates techniques and instructs participants in the use of equipment.Coordinates with installation, county, and state officials on programs and information related to outdoor recreation and required licenses. Researches, plans and develops or enlarges outdoor recreation areas.Prepares standard operating procedures. May assist in the preparation and development of the annual operating budget and 5- year plan.
