QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting accounting, financial analysis, OR financial management, including establishing, implementing, OR monitoring internal financial controls to ensure fiscal accountability and regulatory compliance; Providing support for enterprise financial systems (e.g. Defense Agency Initiative (DAI), Defense Travel System (DTS), and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)) and assisting users with financial transactions and reporting requirements; OR monitoring program objectives, setting priorities, OR implementing process improvements to enhance program performance while adapting to evolving mission requirements, policies, OR procedures. Major DutiesYou will perform or advise work on any of the phases or systems of budget administration.You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practicesYou will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organizations programs.You will present and defend budget estimatesYou will review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
