QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting inspections and evaluations to determine code compliance and certification, required operations, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of Vertical Transportation Equipment, AND assisting with the planning, design, operation and maintenance of Vertical Transportation Equipment. Major DutiesYou will support the NAVFAC mission, for facilities maintenance and sustainment by planning for and ensuring code compliance in the inspection, operation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of VTE.You will serve as the Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) Lead Certifying Official (LCO).You will perform certifications in accordance with Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) 3-490-06, Unified Facility Guide Specification’s (UFGS’s) and BPMS B-15.12.You will provide consulting for NAVFAC designers, engineers, architects and technicians in design development of VTE systems to ensure proper design consideration.You will prepare correspondence, technical reports, estimates, status and schedules as required to complete project assignments.
